Our office was founded on April 1st, 2008 by two lawyers Kohtaro Yamamoto and his partner, Kouichi Shibasaki. They used to serve the same period as a lecturer at the Legal Traning and Research Institute of the Supreme Court of Japan.
Since January, 1994, Yamamoto has been providing his legal services for over 13 years at the Yamamoto General Law Office – our former firm. He focuses his practices on corporate legal affairs, international laws, intellectual property.
Shibasaki has almost twenty years of practical experience. He focuses on his practices on corporate legal affairs, insurance law, compensatory damage (medical, school incidence and work injury), bankruptcy & Civil rehabilitation.
Led by two lawyers with expertise in different legal fields, our office caters a wide range of legal services for our clients.
We celebrated our 10th anniversary in 2018, and as of April 2021, our team has grown to 7 lawyers, 1 advisor US lawyer (NY, D.C), 1 administrative scrivener, and 5 administrative assistants. 　With this team, our office appropriately manages litigation cases and bankruptcy cases, which are the basic business of lawyers and promptly responds to the diversifying legal needs toward the next era. We will strive to provide our clients with the latest and high-quality legal services.
